we have a place to live!

we are so excited that we have finally found a place to live! we went to dallas this past weekend and we found a house that we can move into for the next 6 months so we can then find a more permanent place. it is the cutest house and it is only 5 streets north of the church. jason is going to be so spoiled! the official move date is november 15. only 2 more weeks in memphis! how sad!

so I know these are so late considering emma's birthday was July 26, but as I mentioned we have been a little busy since then. plus these pictures are so cute because our good friend, Mr. Josh Malahy, took them.

Updates!

so I've been harrassed about not keeping my blog current and up-to-date. things have been a little crazy, though, in my defense. baby #2 is on the way, and we could not be more excited! the due date for baby is april 26. not like that is not enough to keep us busy, but now we are moving to dallas! jason is going on staff at a great church there. we are not sure about the exact date we are moving, but it should be sometime in november! we have been traveling back and forth between dallas and memphis the last couple of months so we have definitely been busy!

shopping experiences

shopping with emma is getting more and more interesting since she has found her voice. we now have a shrill high pitch sound that we love to make. i think that miss carter malahy taught her that one. for some reason the only time that we love to use that voice is when mommy is trying to shop. emma also loves to growl at strangers, too. at home we always pretend like we are going to get her and we sometimes do a little growl with it. well now emma has caught on and is growling at strangers in the mall. you got to lover her!

emma is now officially one. she is getting so big! she loves to sit in her chair and "read" books. too cute! all she wants to talk about right now is "dada". i knew she was going to become a daddy's girl, but it just happened too soon! the cutest thing she is doing is holding her hand to hear and pretending that she is talking on the phone. i guess we know what she sees us doing a lot, right "dada":) she is also definitely a "water baby". she loves to go swimming in nana and papa's pool. she splashes around, dunks her head in, and "swims" back and forth to Jason and me. she is so sweet!

okay, so i hear this blogging thing is pretty cool. we're going to give it a try. this will be a great way to keep up with great scrapbook moments that i can't quite find time to remember to actually scrapbook. this blog will be dedicated to emma and her life since nothing i could do would ever be as cute as anything that she is busy doing!
