A historic moment... a picture with my man.
And look no kids in the picture!

the flower girl sneak peak
Last weekend, two very special friends of ours got married, Matt and Kim Boeving.
We were honored to be a part of this special day. Emma was one of the flower girls and Jason did the photography. He also sang as Kim came down the aisle.
These are just some quick pictures of Emma at the wedding. Jason has not got his film back yet from the wedding.
The flower girl...
I decided that I would put Emma's hair in ringlets. Even though Emma's hair has a natural curl to it, it does not curl easily. My sister was curling her hair with the curling iron when she noticed that it was red in several spots. After inspecting it, we all decided that it must be from where we sprayed the hairspray. One curl was not cooperating, so we needed to comb it out and curl it again. As I combed it, hair started to break off and stick to the brush. We had burned her hair! Apparently, her hair is extremely sensitive! No more curling it with the curling iron. Oh, the price of beauty...Friday, April 16, 2010
Lila at 3 months
Lila is 24 1/4 inches long and 13 pounds and 13 ounces.
What does that mean? She' a big girl:)
What is Lila up to these days?
- She smiles all the time.
- She talks all the time.
- She laughs when she is tickled or when her silly sisters are trying to make her laugh.
- She just started to try to blow bubbles with her mouth.
- She likes to chew on her whole fist.
- She still sleeps on her back at night, but will only sleep on her tummy for naptime.
- She has been sleeping all through the night since 2 months.
- She will not let you support her head. She is determined to hold it herself.
- If she is sitting in your lap, she tries to raise herself up to sit by herself.
Because of our schedule, we could only get her in to the doctor for her 8 week appointment for a checkup and shots at 11 weeks.
the park and nana's backyard
Life has been crazy.
As of today, we are officially church planters. There's no turning back now. There's no "established" church to take care of us.
I am scared to death.
And at the same time, more excited than I ever have been in our ministry career.
Hopefully, in two weeks we will be in Memphis. It's bittersweet for me because I love Tupelo and I love our house and life here. But isn't that just like God to not want us to get too comfortable?
Here's some pictures in film from March.
We have a park right around the corner from our house that we love. This is Ava swinging.

melt my heart
One morning in Atlanta, we were about to get the girls dressed and ready to start the day when Emma and Ava decided they wanted to snuggle with Lila. Of course, I started screaming, "Get the camera!" It may be another 3 months before we can actually capture a moment with all three of my girls together!
Don't you just love the bedhead?
