the jeep

Last Friday my mom, a.k.a. MiMi, and my grandmother, a.k.a. NaNa, came to Tupelo to bring a surprise for the girls.  MiMI had gotten the girls, the Barbie Jeep.  Needless to say, it was a hit!

Everyday since the got the jeep, they have asked if they could drive it.  I am slightly worried about my future teenage drivers.  The girls were obsessed with the radio.  They cracked us up as they looked down at the radio as they were driving.  And, they could only drive if the radio was cracked up at full volume.  I have no clue where they get that from:)

When it was Ava's turn to drive, she had an issue reaching the gas pedal.  It was so precious because Emma decided that she would push the pedal and Ava would steer.  Too cute!

The following two pics are my favorite!

I love the shot from behind!  So precious with their pigtails.

This is Ava showing us how she drives.

Love this pic of Emma...

Since it has warmed up, we have spent a lot of time outside.  Lately Ava has been obsessed with sitting in the grass and throwing it all over her.  She has spent too much time with our puppy.

good times

Life is crazy right now.

We are in our sick season.  Every year during this time, we always seem to get struck down by illness.  Usually, it is the girls who stay sick.  Well, this year I got to take part in the festivities.

I got food poisoning from Sonic while Jason was out of town.  Talk about a good way to help you abstain from fast food. If that wasn't bad enough, the food poisoning turned into a case of acute stomach ulcers that lasted for about 2 weeks.  Fun, fun.

We had such amazing help from our friends, church and family.  It might have been worth it to be sick just to hear Jason say he would never want my job!

Needless to say we have been quarantined in our home.  Right now I think both of my girls may have strep throat.  So,  a trip to the doctor is probably on the schedule for tomorrow.  The good times just keep on coming!

We haven't taken many pictures lately, because let's face it nobody is very photogenic right now.

Ava is going through a very FREE phase right now.  When I go to get her after bedtime or nap time, this is how I find her almost every time.
Stripped down with nothing on.  We took other pictures, but we decided they were highly inappropriate for the blog.  Only for our precious memories...

Grammy and Pop-Pop came for the weekend.  The girls love having them stay with us.

Oh, yes we can not forget about our precious demon, oops I mean puppy, Harley.
This is the new way he has found to annoy me.
