i've been tagged

So I have been tagged by Maribeth. Here's the rules to being tagged.

1. include the link to the person who tagged you.
2. include the rules.
3. name 6 things, quirks or whatever about you that someone else might not know
4. name the 6 people that you are tagging
5. include a comment for each person on their blog that your are tagging

So here we go....

1. I clog. Or maybe I should say I clogged because I really haven't done it much since having kids. What is clogging you ask? I promise it has nothing to do with plumbing. No, I was not a plumber in a past life. It is a type of dancing. And before you go there, clogging is not swedish girls with huge clogs on their feet jumping around either. Clogging is closely related to tap dancing with influences from Irish step dancing, Canadian step and other dances. Our shoes look much like tap shoes except instead of the tap being nailed down to the shoe, ours has another tap on top that is loose. It makes much more of a sound than tap shoes.

I clogged for 19 years. Mom put me in lessons when I was 5 and I loved it. For a time, my whole family was cloggers:) I really want to get back into teaching clogging.

2. This is a total random quirk of mine, but Jason thought that I should include it. I tweeze my eyebrows in the car. I know crazy, right? But it really is the best place for natural light and being able to see all those pesky hairs. It irritates Jason to no end when I get in the car and tell him to wait a minute. You should see how mad he gets when I do it when we're stopped at a light...

3. I'm scared of the dark. I'm not even kidding. I break out in sweats when I have to get up in the middle of the night. And forget about if I hear a sound during the night. You can count on Jason having to jump up 3 to 4 times and investigate every sound that I hear no matter how small. And regardless of what bedroom we are in, I have to sleep the farthest away from the
the door. Because, if someone is going to get us they are going to get Jason first, duh!

See, you're really thinking now "poor Jason". Yeah, me too. I think I watched too many Nightmare on Elm Streets when I was a kid.

4. I did colorguard in high school. Oh yeah, I was a flag-toting, fake rifle carrying, spandex wearing girl. Enough said.

5. I like soap operas. Sorry, I can't help it. I was raised on it. Not all soaps just Guiding Light and All My Children. Well, as of right now. I actually get on the internet at the end of the week and read the spoilers for the following week. I know, it's pitiful.
I repent every day:)

6. My children must have a bow in their hair every time they leave the house. They are just not quite put together until the bow is in. I wouldn't leave the house without my makeup and hair done. Oh yeah, maybe I would.

Okay I'm now supposed to tag 6 people. The only problem with that is I don't know that many people that blog or the ones that I do know have already been tagged. Nobody in Dallas really blogs. I've got ton of facebook friends just not that many bloggers. However, I am going to tag Faith.

Hi, Kelly! Thanks for leaving me a comment! I had thought about putting you on my bloggin' buddies list because I enjoy keeping up with you guys on your blog. (I linked your blog from Jenn's list, too) But I wasn't sure you would remember me and might wonder who this crazy person is with a link to your blog on their site. I got over that and have added you anyway. Hope you don't mind! :)

I am so with you on the bow thing!!! Miss you guys! Sonya

I'm feelin ya on the bows, Lady.

Also - I'm secretly addicted to The Young and the Restless. Shameful!!!

Actually, soaps these days aren't any worse than anything else on t.v.
