Tupelo here we come!

I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know a little about what is going on in "Stockdale World".

Two years ago we moved to Dallas to begin working at Park Cities Baptist Church. Jason's task was to help launch a new contemporary service. PCBC had never had a Sunday morning contemporary service, so no one knew what to expect. After 9 months we outgrew our one service and in September 07 we added service #2. This last year we have seen our Worship in the Great Hall services grow to over 1300 people, many who didn't know Christ and now do! I can honestly say that while there have been some huge challenges, the two greatest years of our lives have been spent at PCBC. But God has a way of changing things up on us!

Over the last two months, Jason and I have sensed the Lord moving in our lives in two areas, one is to be obedient to Him and His calling on Jason's life, and the other is a need to move back closer to Memphis to help in taking care of our family in a time of poor health. Over the last 2 months God has provided an opportunity for us to do both. Jason will be going on staff at Hope Church Tupelo in Tupelo, Mississippi, as Worship Pastor. God is doing some amazing things in the life of Hope and we are excited to begin serving alongside of Pastor Sam Shaw and the staff at Hope. We have prayed and labored over the move and trust me it has not been easy. But we have really sensed the leading and calling of the Lord to move to Tupelo and so we are going to be obedient to Him and follow that leading.

We had a huge answer to prayer this last week by finding an amazing house. Below are pictures that we took off our phones. Please pray for us over the next two weeks. We already miss our friends in Dallas, and we have so much to do to get ready for the move. I will keep you updated as we go along.
